Greenpeace, Amnesty International, Ploughshares, Sierra Club etc.;
he asked me if there were a charity I would like to honor.
I just wrote a really substantial check to Planned Parenthood.
I’m kinda teary, I’ve never been able to donate that much money to the people who have helped me so much throughout my adult years and now my daughter.

My sister is crafting a speech for her class about why Planned Parenthood is about low or no-cost health care for men, women,a nd children, and in many places is the only place you can get reproductive health care at all when you’re poor.
Also, how the average clinic sees about 12 women a month, for possible abortions
9and they only end up doing half of those, mostly for reasons like rape or incest) when their patients show up for other things at the rate of 800-1200 a week.
