Try this version– the Faun isn’t as beautiful as Nuryev, but you can see more of the choreography, more of the nymphs– and he makes it pretty clear what he’s doing with the veil at the end!

Nijinsky was probably a bit of a physical sport– he did things that have never been duplicated. One of his ballets, Le Spectre De la Rose has never been performed correctly since his death. Look at the legs on that man!
