I have been spending some time on a BDSM forum that is mostly heterocentric, there are some common assumptions that jolt me, to wit; Nobody tops and bottoms, everyone is a Dom or a sub. And everyone is looking for that happy ever after, so that "Dom" is synonymous with "boyfriend" and "sub" is the same as "girlfriend." The few women who are tops have to constantly remind people of that in convos, and the few queers have to remind people that not every BDSM relationship is M/f.
I am fed up with romance. These people… they all want to live in a bodice ripper.
And there is one guy who recently showed up there– he has been trolling the internet since the usenet days, no shit. More about him later, he’s a fucking legend.
