As I mentioned earlier, I would like to join the next heat for kink bingo. But you know– I don’t write much fan fiction, I really don’t. (Mostly because I know so very few fandoms, and mostly by way of fanfic, not the original media, but also because I tend to write original fiction anyway. I think I’m reasonably good at it.)
I asked the mods if they would accept original fiction entries, and I got a reply to the effect that they might– maybe. Which is fine by me, don’t get me wrong, it being their game after all.
But I’ve been reading lots of entries ’cause I am a sexaholic 
and there have been stories that made me all squirmy and grinning like a fool, and stories that touched me — and they came from fandoms that I know nothing about. The names of these fandoms are absolutely meaningless to me, I have no clue in the world who these characters are, and– in the context of, yanno, DP or bondage or messy!sex, I don’t care. Hell, if the writer is halfway decent, I get the relationship that provokes these kinky scenes, loud and clear.
What I’m saying here is that some of these entries might just as well be originalfic– from my point of view, and, I think from many other readers’ as well. Which raises the question in my mind…
Because I know there are fen who will not never ever read anything besides fanfic, and there are fen who will not read anything outside of their preferred fandom, and I know there are fen who won’t approve a story if the pairing is wrong– but I could invent a fictional fandom, and if these people chose not to read, it would be because they didn’t recognise the title. Not because it was so obviously original fic…

I was also thinking that you mentioned the spanking by Lacey was quite the turnon, and I know you write kink to a lovely degree.
While I’ve glanced through some websites on Japanese rope-art restraints, I’m no expert on it, I suspect you’d be better at that one.
I imagine Lacey has quite an expertise, when she wants to take the time, say that afternoon with Emma. I haven’t said *anything* about how she and Dance interacted, just that she said he’s quite the kisser.
And that’s not even talking about any variation on the trio themselves, or things involving Emberley or Eric (just that Emberley said ERic was a little rough on him. Hmmm, now there’s a suggestive remark!) or Wren and Jian.
No shortage to work with there!
The other point to immobilizing the tail might also be, from Drin’s POV, to making sure in the young-animal trainer sense that Dance trusts Drin’s command in the most basic of ways, that he will act instantly on what Drin gives him as a clear and obvious command.
Drin is going to need that from him as Dance becomes increasingly powerful and, at the early points, there is no promise he is stable mentally, he may grow dangerously erratic.
Which gives me so many dom/sub games… *groan*
And if my card turns up “tentacles,” well!
If people are willing to let me manhandle their characters in the name of PWP, I will manhandle them in the very best of ways.
And you do it so well! *G!*
I’m not thinking of the interaction on D/D as the most simple master/subbie, as there are varying areas of relative strength and power in different aspects of their lives.
I think it’s interesting to see their behavior where Emma just got back from her afternoon with Lacey, and she asks if they’re unhappy with her, and Dance actually licks and chews on Drin’s leg was one of the most amazingly obvious scent-marking behaviors I can imagine. I still don’t understand why he was turning away from her, he didn’t seem to be interested in tackling her physically at that moment.
Anything but simple, that’s for sure!
