fiction archive bizniss
First of all, if you have or know of or love to read an online novel, there’s a directory for them;
http://muses-success.info/
So, fiction archives. I host a bunch of them at probablepossible.com. (And I can host more, for them what wants). I like to use wordpress and i want to get some brainstorming going, on how best to present an archive.
what i want when I got to an archive site;
an alluring front page. If the content is multi-part, i want to see
a list of all the novels
that opens up into a TOC, showing chpaters when the name of the novel is clicked
that opens up, if need be, into the list of posts that make up the chapter.
If the content is multi-braned *whistles innocently* I would like to be able to order the work in more than one list. Tags work for that, but it would be nice to be able to order posts within the tag, depending on if they are part of a different chapter or something, yanno?
And if there’s a blog, i would like to see maybe the most recent post in some part of the front page, what do you guys think? I just… like that little peek into a writer’s life.
Hmm… I know I’m missing stuffs.

Muse-success is really cool, but where is their “historical” section? I didn’t see one. D:
We tell them to add one of course!
… I imagine that there would be a lot of historical novels that are recent or in the works, from various sources.
