feed my ego, tell me I’m pretty
I had a lovely two days at Loscon, in the company of Doselle and Janine Ellen Young, following them like a puppy from panel to panel. They have been my mentors and enablers for most of a year now and I am forever grateful for it– plus we three all think just about the same way, so we turn into pod people. In a happy way.
Anyway, janine demanded that I make new avatars, so she took pictures with her iphone.
See that cute little raygun? It’s the "victorious Mongoose" newest from Weta, the New Zeland company. I was the first person ever to handle it in the U.S. But, i’ll tell you– it’s solid pot metal and not actually costume able. So, I’mn starting a junk search to make my own– with more moving parts. Not only that, but I want to make a pair of duelling raypistols.

I look the dead spit of my father in the right hand picture, the dead spit of his mother in the left-hand pic!
Black overgarments all by the incomparible Kristi Smart. Top hat was borrowed from an adjoining dealer.
My hair hasn’t been this long in at least thirty-five years. Seriously. my neck aches sometimes– it just feels so heavy… But I love having the tail!.

What the one in these pics with the sparkly silver buttons? These coats look good on EVERYONE, from size nothing to 4-X, men and women. Kristi even makes them in a shortie 4-x. Skinnies see fatties wearing them and get sad thinking they will not look as good– but they do…
