rydra_wong just posted a link to AO3′s freeform tags cloud, and it’s a sight worth seeing. it’s damn near an archive of tags! Whee!
Needless to say, i noticed and clicked on Dom/sub.
And it occurred to me; I haven’t looked into this yet, but I sure do hope there is, or will be, a way to check a tag minus things that are also tagged something else.
Specifically, i would like to browse Dom/Sub stories that don’t include RPF. I would love to never even know that fans put real people’s names on Dom/sub stories, really. Or dub-con, or pretty much anything that assumes fannish ownership of a real person…
My reasons for dislike are the same ones that have been heard again and again. I’m not saying not to write it- just wish there were a way I could avoid one tag, in other tags.

I know nothing of coding, but possibly you could drop something in your suggestion box? There’s got to be other people who’d like to search for stories containing X and Y but not Z.
